Pilgrims’ journey turns fatal: Six killed, 17 hurt in road mishap near Indore

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): In the early hours of Friday, a devastating accident occurred near Mhow’s Manpur area, resulting in six fatalities and seventeen injuries. At approximately 3 AM, a traveler vehicle transporting passengers from Karnataka village in Maharashtra collided with a motorcycle before crashing into a tanker. The passengers were returning from a pilgrimage to the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain.
The impact caused multiple passengers to sustain fractures and other injuries. The injured were promptly transported to MY Hospital in Indore for treatment. Hospital officials reported that a child has been admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), while the remaining patients are in stable condition.
According to Sub-Inspector Ravi from Manpur police station, two of the deceased were the motorcycle riders—Himanshu from Dharampuri and Shubham from Sendhwa. The other two victims were women traveling in the traveler; their identities are yet to be confirmed.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. They are urging drivers to exercise increased caution, particularly during nighttime travel, to prevent such tragic incidents.
