MP’s Pooja Jat reaches final but had to be satisfied with silver medal
Indore (Team Newsbuddy): Indore MP Wrestling Association’s Vikram Awardee Om Prakash said that 1 silver and 1 bronze were won in the 38 th National Games. Olympian Pappu Yadav said that playing in the 53 kg weight category of MP, international wrestler Pooja Jat lost to Maharashtra’s Swati by a small margin in the final stages and had to be satisfied with the silver.
Aurangzeb won bronze in 77 kg and MP’s wrestling further challenge ended at 3 medals only. Anyway Pappu Yadav said that all the international and medal winning players of the country play in the National Games, due to which the competitions are tough. It is very difficult to win a medal.
Olympian Pappu Yadav, Vikram Awardee Omprakash Khatri, Suresh Yadav, Govind Gujjar, Vikash Yadav, Jagdish Patel, International Coach Vinay Kumar, Arjun Singh Thakur, Manager Vijay Chaudhary (Ujjain) all praised the excellent performance of the wrestlers from Madhya Pradesh.
