Asmita Hockey State Level Hockey Competition

Four matches were played on the second day of the Asmita Hockey state-level hockey competition being organized under the aegis of Sports Authority of India, Hockey India and Chhattisgarh Hockey, in which today’s first match was played between Hockey Kabirdham and Hockey Janjgirchampa. In this match, Hockey Kabirdham defeated Hockey Janjgirchampa by 6-1 goals. Hockey Janjgirchampa took a 1-0 lead in the first 6th minute of the match when Rani of Janjgir scored a goal, which Hockey Kabirdham equalized at 1-1 by scoring a goal through Rukmani in the 18th minute of the match, after which Hockey Kabirdham played an aggressive innings and won the match by scoring goals by Rukmani in the 22nd minute of the match, Yashoda in the 30th minute of the match and Yashoda in the 42nd and 47th minutes of the match. In today’s second match, Hockey Bilaspur won easily over Hockey Bilaspur by 16-0 goals in a one sided match. Dolly scored 4 goals, Damini scored 2 goals, Madhu Sidar scored 5 goals, Bhumika Dhankar scored 2 goals, Meenakshi Umare scored 2 goals and Smita Kujur and Riya Khalkho scored 1 goal each from Hockey Bilaspur’s side.

In the third match played between Sports Academy Raipur and Hockey Durg in which Sports Academy Raipur defeated Durg by 12-0 goals in a one-sided match. From Sports Academy Raipur’s side, Namrata scored 6 goals, Yogita scored 2 goals, Nandini scored 2 goals and Jigyasa and Mina scored 1-1 goals. In today’s final match, host Rajnandgaon defeated Hockey Kanker by 9-0 goals. In this one-sided match, from host Rajnandgaon’s side, Dubi Rawat scored 3 goals, Akshita Ahuja scored 1 goal, Aradhana scored 1 goal, Simran Yadav scored 2 goals and Poonam Devangan and Priyanshi Maurya scored 1-1 goals. Before the match, the guests present went to the middle of the ground and got introduced to the players. Prominently present in today’s match were Firoz Ansari, President, Chhattisgarh Hockey, Anurag Shrivastava, Ms. Aushya Thomas, Tirath Gauswami, Sachin Khobragade, Shakeel Ahmed, Abhinav Mishra, Rajesh Nirmalkar, Khemraj Sinha, Krishna Yadav, Sports lovers including Rupesh Jaiswal were present.
