Amee Kamani wins bronze medal at Asian Snooker Championship

Doha (Team Newsbuddy): City’s Q Sports star player Amee Kamani has once again showcased her talent on the international stage, winning a bronze medal in the women’s category at the Asian Snooker Championship. Amee played exceptionally well until the quarterfinals. In the group matches, she defeated India’s Arantxa Sanchis, Thailand’s Naruocha, and Hong Kong’s Yi Ting Cheung to reach the quarterfinals.

In the quarterfinals, Amee continued her impressive performance, defeating China’s Ming Young 3-0. However, in the semifinals, she lost to Hong Kong’s On Yee Ng 3-1. Despite her excellent play, she couldn’t overcome the Hong Kong player and had to settle for a bronze medal.

Earlier, Amee had won one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal at the national tournament in Indore. Her achievement was congratulated by MP Billiards-Snooker Association Chairman Shri Bhulu Mehta, Indian Billiards-Snooker Federation Secretary-General Shri Sunil Bajaj, Vice-President Smt. Ashwini Puranik, and Billiards Academy Incharge Shri Sujit Gehlot.
