Bihar Foundation Day in Indore: Ravi Shankar Prasad to address 5000+ migrant Biharis

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): In a significant move to unite the migrant Bihari community living in Indore and elsewhere in Madhya Pradesh, a major event will be held in Indore on March 22 to mark Bihar Foundation Day. The event will feature prominent BJP leader and Patna MP Ravi Shankar Prasad as the chief guest, who will engage in an interactive session with the migrant Bihari community. The program is expected to draw over 5000 attendees at the Brilliant Convention Centre.
In preparation for this grand celebration, a crucial meeting of migrant Bihari community representatives was held at the BJP office in Indore. The meeting was attended by BJP’s State Organizing Secretary, Raghvendra Gautam; Indore BJP President Sumit Mishra; and representatives from various cultural and social organizations of the people of Bihar, including Thakur Jagdish Singh, State President of the Poorvottar Sanskritik Sansthan Madhya Pradesh; Shambhunath Singh; Hemant Jha and Subhash Jha from the Maithil community; and several officials and representatives from the Bhojpuri and other organizations.
State BJP organizing secretary, Raghvendra Gautam, highlighted that similar events will be organized in 76 cities nationwide under the BJP’s initiative, with special programs planned in Indore and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
During the meeting, Thakur Jagdish Singh lauded the BJP’s efforts to bring the migrant Bihari community together. Hemant Jha conducted the proceedings, while Shambhunath Singh proposed the vote of thanks.
K K Jha, General Secretary of the Poorvottar Sanskritik Sansthan Madhya Pradesh, emphasized that this initiative aims to connect over 20 million migrant Biharis across the country with their roots in Bihar. He added that the event would encourage their active participation in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections and inspire them to contribute to their home state’s growth and development.
