Chhattisgarh senior men’s hockey team win

Arjun Yadav declared Man of the Match

Rajnandgaon(Team Newsbuddy). The 15th Hockey India Senior Men’s National Hockey Championship started today in Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh). The state’s hockey team is also participating in it. The state’s team has reached Jhansi to participate in the said competition. Before participating in the competition, the team’s training camp was organized at the International Hockey Stadium, Rajnandgaon.
In which 28 hockey players participated. The final 18 players were selected on the basis of excellent performance in the training camp, which includes Rohit Rajak, Abhijeet Shrivas, Manav Medpa, Chandrashekhar Yadav, Vishnu Yadav, Ajay Tandi, Aaron Saroj, Bopanna, Sameer Ali, Gulshan Kumar, Khushal Yadav, Arjun Yadav, Kartik Yadav, Aditya Netam, Aditya Meshram, Sonu Nishad, Ganesh Yadav, Shailendra Verma, international hockey player Mrinal Choubey (manager), Shakeel Ahmed (coach) and Deepesh Choubey as assistant coach. Under the competition, Chhattisgarh Hockey Team’s first match was played against Hockey Gujarat at 10.30 am today, in which Chhattisgarh Hockey Team defeated Gujarat 10-0 and started the competition with a victory. In today’s match played against Gujarat Team, Sonu Nishad displayed excellent performance and scored 2 goals, Arjun Yadav scored 2 goals, Bopanna scored 2 goals, Shailendra Verma scored 2 goals and Kartik Yadav and Ganesh Yadav scored 1 goal each. The Best Player award for outstanding performance in the team was given to Arjun Yadav of jersey no. 05 of Chhattisgarh Hockey.
