Indore:
Madhya Pradesh solidified its ambition to become a global technology powerhouse at the MP Tech Growth Conclave 2025, launched with fervor by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at Indore’s Brilliant Convention Centre. Organized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh, this landmark event brought together over 300 global and Indian tech leaders, including titans like Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Siemens EDA, Yash Technologies, and Infobeans. The conclave served as a dynamic platform to convert ₹30 lakh crore in investment commitments from the Global Investors Summit 2025 into tangible economic and technological advancements, positioning Indore as a rising star in the global IT landscape.
In a bold move to foster innovation, CM Yadav unveiled implementation guidelines for four futuristic policies: Global Capability Centres (GCC), Semiconductors, Drones, and AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality). These policies aim to catalyze research, manufacturing, and skill development, making Madhya Pradesh a magnet for global tech investments. The event also marked the launch of transformative projects, including Indore’s IT Techno Park, a ₹1,000 crore initiative set to generate 15,000 jobs, and Bharat Electronics Limited’s Centre of Excellence for AI and Software Development at Sinhasa IT Park. Further, the Jabalpur IT Park (₹25 crore, 500+ jobs), LTI Mindtree’s IT campus, and CtrlS’s advanced Data Centre broke ground, signaling a new era of industrial growth.
Strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed to establish Centres of Excellence in AI and Cybersecurity (with MANIT Bhopal), Semiconductors (IIITM Gwalior), Drones (IISER Bhopal), and AVGC-XR Labs (with FICCI and MP AVGC-XR Association). These collaborations aim to bridge industry and academia, equipping the state’s youth for cutting-edge careers. A highlight was the launch of an Integrated Incentives Portal, offering real-time, single-window support to streamline investor processes. The conclave also underscored inclusive growth, with CM Yadav distributing appointment letters to differently-abled candidates via the Divyang Employment Portal. Investments like Crystal IT Park and Infobeans Technologies’ expansion are projected to create 6,000 direct jobs and benefit 20,000 individuals indirectly.
“Under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, Madhya Pradesh is transforming into a hub of technological and economic progress,” declared CM Yadav, spotlighting Indore’s Crystal IT Park and industrial strides in districts like Shahdol, Narmadapuram, and Rewa. Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav described the conclave as a “defining moment” that elevates the city’s global identity, connecting its youth to future-ready technologies. Industry leaders echoed this enthusiasm. Sanjeev Gupta, CEO of Karnataka Digital Economy Mission, remarked, “Madhya Pradesh is riding a new wave, rivaling India’s top tech hubs.” Praveen Kankariya, CEO of Impetus Technologies, praised Indore’s innovation-friendly ecosystem, noting its unique blend of calm and capability.
The conclave featured sector-specific roundtables, one-on-one investor-government meetings, and virtual consultations with the IT Advisory Board, ensuring actionable outcomes. Partnerships with premier institutions like IIT Indore, IIM Indore, and Drishti CPS Foundation reinforced the state’s focus on industry-academia synergy. By championing sectors like AI, semiconductors, and drones, the MP Tech Growth Conclave 2025 has firmly established Indore as a cornerstone of India’s digital revolution, poised to lead Madhya Pradesh into a future of innovation and prosperity.
