Water conservation campaign also launched
Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Maa Saraswati Dham in Tulsi Nagar, a revered spiritual landmark known for its divine grandeur and unwavering devotion, is set to shine even brighter. This sacred site will not only be illuminated with radiant lights but also enhanced with modern amenities. Local corporator Sangeeta Mahesh Joshi performed the groundbreaking ceremony for installing four new high-mast lights, attended by prominent residents. This initiative will not only light up the temple premises but also elevate the safety and convenience of the community.
Addressing the gathering, corporator representative Mahesh Joshi stated, “Under the guidance of local MLA Mahendra Hardia, the Indore Municipal Corporation is committed to enhancing the gardens and religious sites across all colonies in Ward No. 37 under Assembly Constituency No. 5. At Maa Saraswati Dham, four high-mast lights and five new lamp posts will be installed. Additionally, an attractive pathway will be constructed around the temple, illuminated by lamp posts.” He further shared that other religious sites in Tulsi Nagar, such as Anteshwar Dham and Someshwar Mahadev Temple premises, will also be part of this development drive.
The event placed significant emphasis on environmental conservation. As part of the Ganga Jal Sanvardhan Abhiyan, residents were urged to install water recharge systems in their homes. Joshi added, “The municipal corporation will implement water recharge systems at public spots in the colony prone to waterlogging during the monsoon. This step will be a pivotal move toward water conservation.”
The ceremony saw the presence of notable figures including Shambhu Nath Singh, K.K. Jha, Sanjay Yadav, Basant Nayak, Vivek Sharma, Narayan Meena, Rakesh Jaiswal, Nirbhay Singh Yaduvanshi, Kamlesh Sharma, Manoj Dixit, Rahul Thakkar, and Ritesh Raghuvanshi, along with a large number of women and residents of Tulsi Nagar.
