Mhow Senior Badminton Championship

Mhow (Team Newsbuddy): The grand finale of “Mhow Championship Trophy Senior Badminton Competition” organized by Senior Players Association Mahu was held at Railway Institute Campus. More than 25 senior players participated in this three-day competition. Former international hockey player and inspiration of the film ‘Chak De India’, Mir Ranjan Singh Negi was present as the chief guest in the closing ceremony. While encouraging the players, he said that Mhow has always created a special identity in the world of sports, and this effort will give more height to the legacy of Mhow.
The program was presided over by Kailash Dutt Pandey, President of Senior Players Association.
The special guests included Custom Officer Devkinandan Silawat, former Deputy Superintendent of Police DK Tiwari, Director of Prakash Hockey Club Indore, Ashok Yadav, and Major Saurabh Sharma.
The guests honored the winner and runner-up players by giving them trophies and certificates. Winners: Dr. Sandeep Mohanty and Dr. C.K. Sharma ,Runner-up: Radhelal Gaikwad and Jitendra Phoolkar Singles Category ,Winner: Dr. Sandeep Mohanty ,Runner-up: Najmuddin Kanchwala ,Gaurav Srivastava and Akshay Khare played the role of judges of this competition.
The program was conducted by Kamal Kethwas and in the end the organization’s secretary Pradeep Srivastava expressed his gratitude. In the program, those senior players of Mhow were also honored who have brought glory to Mhow at the national and international level.
Prominent among the honored players were Sameer Sankat, Sardar Ujaagar Singh, Gaurishankar Shukla, Basant Solanki, Ramesh Batham, Damodar Sharma, Prakash Kamle, Ramesh Chandra Sharma Chacha, Narendra Sankat, Mannu Singh Senjelia, Atul Pardesi etc.
On behalf of the organization, the guests were welcomed by President Kailash Dutt Pandey, Secretary Pradeep Srivastava, Najmuddin Kanchwala, Sachin Umesh Bhosale, Kamal Kethwas, Vijay Naulakha, Kailash Tarodeya, Jolly Joseph, Rajesh Pateria, Harjeet Singh Bhatia, Yashwant Kaushal, Rakesh Dubey, Roshanlal Kaushal, Amarchand Ved, Roopchand Barodia, Mustaq Qureshi, Rakesh Stephen, Sanjeev Solomon, Balram Gadh Junior, Manish Verma, Praveen Kamle, Manoj Bajaj, Anil Name, Sudhir Batham, Yogacharya Inder Singh, Rahul Sharma, Kishore Name, Ashish Batham, Jagdish Chandra Kode, Ansar Farooqui, Amjad Mansuri, Manoharlal Ahir, Madan Ahir, Vijay Wadkar, Manish Pardesi, Ramesh Patalkar, Arun Solanki etc. In his address, Chief Guest Mir Ranjan Singh Negi recalled his old association with Mhow and said, “I came to Mhow for the first time in my childhood with Ashok Yadav . At that time, we stayed at Mhow Railway Station till 12 in the night because the next train was late. This place is memorable for me.” He called for reviving the hockey heritage of Mhow and praised the work of the Senior Players Association and promised to give all possible support.
