Experts share vision of the city’s development through a detailed, excellent, data-filled presentation
Indore (Team Newsbuddy): In the dialogue program organized by Abhyas Mandal on the topic “Indore 2030: New thinking of country’s city development”, serious and constructive discussions were seen about the future of the city. The main speaker of the program was Indore MP Shankar Lalwani, who shared multi-dimensional plans for the future development of Indore through a presentation. Representatives from various fields of the city participated in this dialogue program of Abhyas Mandal. Representatives from education, industry, administration, environment, youth forum, medical and civil organizations made this dialogue thoughtful and useful.
Plans for city development were presented. In the presentation, MP Lalwani said that Indore is no longer just a leader in cleanliness, but is also moving towards becoming an example in areas like data-based planning, smart transport, environmental protection, economic progress and innovation.
He informed that the target is to significantly increase the local GDP of Indore by 2030, for which startups, digital services, green construction and smart industries will be supported. Economic, social and educational empowerment was made the primary topic in the program. Along with this, sustainability based development model was discussed through institutional modification and innovation.
Lalwani informed that work is in progress on electric buses, metro expansion, cycle friendly routes and intelligent traffic system to improve the traffic system of the city. At the same time, many programs like revival of water sources, waste management and tree plantation are going on for environmental protection.
There was active participation of aware representatives
Keeping in view the overall development in Indore, the expansion of the international airport has emerged as a major plan. Also, there is a plan to develop the traditional salt industry as a cluster which includes infrastructure, testing laboratories and investment promotion. This planning will not only boost employment and exports, but will also establish Indore strongly on the global business map.
On this occasion, the citizen representatives present also shared their experiences, suggestions and questions. Teachers, social workers, youth and administrative experts of the city took the dialogue seriously and presented many practical suggestions.
Such a dialogue will decide the direction of the city. This dialogue was not just a program, but was the beginning of public participation based planning for the future of the city. The vision of “Indore 2030” is now moving from ideas to policy and action plan, in which joint responsibility and participation of administration, society and public representatives is essential.

While introducing the topic, Dr Jayantilal Bhandari, Ashok Barjatya, Anil Bhandari gave information on Gross Domestic Product, GDP growth will be good which will play an important role in the development of the city, state and country. Welcoming, Ashok Jaiswal said that solving the problems of the Industry Department will contribute well to GDP growth .
