Protest deepens in Congress over Chouksey appointment

Indore (Team Newsbuddy) : After Congress declared councillor and leader of opposition in Nagar Nigam Chintu Chouksey as Indore city president. Since then, there has been continuous protest. After Indore East Mahila Morcha raised questions and a divisional spokesperson resigned, now other Congress leaders have also become vocal.

Party workers say that the workers who have struggled for Congress for years have once again been ignored and wealthy and opportunistic people who revolve around a few big leaders have been given important positions. Congress workers have now questioned Jeetu Patwari in protest.

Congress workers have written on social media that in Indore district, the Congress party gets the least votes from Vidhan Sabha No. 2. Be it any election (Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, Nagar Nigam). Then what is the compulsion that all the main posts of the organization (Leader of Opposition and Mahila Congress President and now also City Congress President) are being given to the leaders of Vidhan Sabha-2? We believe that Congress is weak in Vidhan Sabha-2. The party has been losing there for years.

We have been losing assembly elections in Vidhan Sabha constituency number 4 and 5 for 2 decades, but it is worth noting that the leaders and workers of area number 5 did not let the vote percentage of Congress decrease there. In every election, the party has received the maximum votes from that assembly. The leaders and workers here have never made any kind of political compromise with the current BJP MP and MLA. In this regard, other assembly constituencies should be strengthened and obliged, and not neglected.

The name was not even in the list, yet the president Workers allege that the person whose name was not even in the list of organization creation and who himself was lobbying for someone else, was suddenly made the city Congress president. This appointment is under question.

This is not creation, it is an immersion of emotions Workers say that this is not creation, but making fun of the loyalty and emotions of Congress. He asked whether there is such a dearth of capable, honest and dedicated workers in Congress that they have stopped appreciating them or has Congress now become a den of personal factionalism?

Why was this drama enacted?  Congress workers also questioned that if the appointments were already decided, then why was this drama of asking for opinion from the workers enacted? He said that this has broken the morale of Congress workers and the hard work of loyal workers has been insulted.

The question is no longer about the city president, but about the future of Congress. The workers said that the question is no longer just about the name of the city president, but whether the Congress party will run on the strength of the workers or on the whims of a few selected leaders.

Yadav Samaj will open front against Patwari

State Congress President Jeetu Patwari will be opposed in protest against the neglect of the Yadav community by the Congress in the appointment of city and district presidents. Yadav Samaj is going to hold a meeting soon. In which the society will decide the strategy to oppose Patwari in the entire state.

Not only this, it will also be decided that from whichever assembly constituency Patwari will contest the election, the society will come out openly and open a front against him. Let us tell you that this meeting was to be held today, but it has been postponed due to Indore city Congress president candidate Deepu Yadav being out of
the city.
