PIEMR Invocation Ceremony 2025: Students asked to embrace AI & innovation

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Prestige Institute of Engineering, Management and Research (PIEMR) hosted its “Abhiyantriki Deeksharambh 2025 (Invocation Ceremony 2025)” to welcome the newly admitted students formally. In his keynote address, PIEMR Senior Director Dr. Manoj Kumar Deshpande reflected on the illustrious journey of the Prestige Group and the invaluable contribution of its founder, Padmashri Neminath Jain. He encouraged students to equip themselves with future-ready skills, particularly in Artificial Intelligence, Programming, and Personality Development.
Dr. Rajeev Raghuvanshi, Director (Admissions), highlighted the equal importance of knowledge, perspective, and etiquette, drawing inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita and poetry. Neeraj Sahay, Director, SSR Global Skill Park, Bhopal, emphasized that engineering is rooted in curiosity, innovation, and perseverance. He invited students to actively participate in advanced skill development programs.
The highlight of the ceremony was an inspiring session by Dr. Yogesh Brahmankar, Innovation Director, Ministry of Education (New Delhi), who stressed the role of empathy, design thinking, and entrepreneurship in shaping future leaders.
The program concluded with the traditional “Deeksha Bandhan” ritual, symbolizing the sacred bond between the institute and its students. Prof. Kirti Patwardhan conducted the proceedings, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Hemant Sharma, Head, Department of Applied Science & Humanities.
