‘Women inspire, teach and become a support’

Indore(Team Newsbuddy). In the last two decades, Indian women have given new dimensions to their role in the family and society. If the work of a housewife is evaluated, her contribution proves to be priceless. Women inspire, teach and become a support. This is what author, columnist and celebrity public speaker Suhail Seth said. He was addressing the FICCI FLO Indore Chapter on the topic “Speak on Women Entrepreneurship in New India” at Hotel Park .

Giving various examples, he threw light on women power, history of women and the future of women. FLO Indore Chapter Chairperson CA Shweta Agarwal said that in today’s era, the leadership role of women has increased in India’s biggest companies and institutions. For example, the Chief Operating Officer of TCS is a woman, while the role of women in Meta and Reliance Foundation has also brought about a new change. In such a situation, it is important that women entrepreneurs get the right direction and they can recognize their energy.

Women asked many questions related to their business to motivational speakers like Suhail for which Flow became a very good platform. Suhail said that mother is not only the first teacher of children but also the pivot of the family. With affection, discipline and guidance, she gives direction to children in life. The same lesson applies to business and society as well – real strength lies in trust and care. India has distanced itself from the tradition of reading in the last 45 years.

Superficial knowledge and show-off have left behind deep understanding and real knowledge. The new generation will have to move beyond convenience and show-off and understand the real value of tradition, sensitivity and culture which is possible only by reading books. I still read a book every day, whether the world laughs at me or makes fun of me, but reading is my strength. Today in society, “brand”, “position” and “image” have started being given more importance. Real contribution and honesty have been left behind. India’s biggest strength has been the “jugaad” culture, but that has now become a weakness. Easy ways and instant solutions have left us behind in the long race. I oppose those who misuse Jugaad. Perfection is not possible in life, but efforts should not stop. When I asked Ratan Tata in one of my conversations what is real success, he said “Good sleep.” Real success is where the mind and soul get peace. He told the women that the time you spend in making reels on social media, can’t you post any kind of corruption on social media? This will prove to be more beneficial and this will also become the reason for people’s peaceful sleep in the future. In the glitz and glamour of Bollywood, we are forgetting Indian classical music and its depth. It is necessary to remember the roots that gave depth to Indian cinema for decades. Suhail said, my appeal is that we all together recognize the roots of our culture, art and knowledge and learn from them. This is the real strength of India. As Robert Frost said – it is important to walk on the right path, not on the crowded path. Every person should fulfill his responsibility. Following the rules saves not only your time but also the time of the society. More important than the journey is its direction.
