Somesh Singh Lama wins state level Masters Badminton Championship
1 min readSurajpur.(TEAM NEWS BUDDY).The 22nd State Level Masters Badminton Championship organized by District Badminton Association Korba was held in Korba from 7 to 11 February. In the 40 age group, Somesh Singh Lama of Surajpur district performed brilliantly and won the gold medal by defeating Om Prakash Sahu of Korba by 21-9, 21-11 in the singles match, while in the doubles match, his partner Shakti of Raipur won the gold medal. Raipur pair along with Mishra won the gold medal by defeating Manoj Verma and Nutendra Sahu by 23-21, 21-18, 21-8 and in mixed doubles, Korba pair Rajesh Thakur and Priya Rao along with their partner Manisha Singh won the gold medal by 21-21. Won gold medal by defeating 17, 22-20. Somesh Singh Lama won three gold medals in this competition. Along with winning three gold medals, Somesh Singh Lama has been selected for the national competition to be held in March, which is on 16th March. It will be held in Panchkula, Punjab from 21st to 21st March. Due to this, Somesh Singh Lama, working in the Education Department, was congratulated by the Education Department and the District Education Officer and best wishes for the upcoming national competition.
