Women’s media team wins friendly match

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): The journalist team won the friendly cricket match organized by the State Press Club, MP between the BJP media women’s team and the women’s journalist team. Batting first, the BJP team scored 129 runs in the stipulated 10 overs. In reply, the journalist team led by Sheetal Roy achieved the target of victory in nine overs. The winning players were awarded by IDCA Chairman Sanjay Lunawat and National Child Rights Commission member Dr. Divya Gupta.

On this occasion, Lunawat said that cricket is a game of uncertainty and this was seen in this match. He wished both the teams for better performance.

In the prize distribution ceremony, Dr. Deepti Singh Hada was presented with the Best Bats Player award, Pooja Mishra with Best Bowler award and Savita Akhand with Women of the Match award and trophy. In the beginning, State Press Club, MP president Praveen Kumar Khariwal, BJP media in-charge Ritesh Tiwari, former media in-charge Devkinandan Tiwari, MP representative Krishnakant Rokde and Sameer Pathak introduced themselves to the players. In the end, Sudesh Gupta expressed his gratitude.
