Indore airport enforces new travel requirements for UAE-bound passengers
1 min readIndore(Team Newsbuddy): Devi Ahilya Bai airport Indore has implemented new travel requirements for passengers flying to Dubai and Sharjah, following recent directives from the UAE government. These regulations are specifically targeted at tourists on tourist visas and mandate that travelers present a confirmed return ticket when departing from Indore Airport.
Currently, the only flights from Indore to Dubai and Sharjah operate on Thursdays, with both departures and returns scheduled for the same night. This limited schedule necessitates careful planning for travelers.
The UAE government has tightened entry regulations due to concerns about illegal residency in Sharjah and Dubai. It has been reported that some individuals use tourist visas, which cost approximately 5,000 to 6,000 rupees, to seek employment illegally in the UAE.
According to the Madhya Pradesh Travel Agents Association, these new guidelines are not expected to significantly affect regular tourists, who typically comply with these requirements.
Travelers are advised to ensure they meet all specified conditions to avoid any inconvenience.
