Fifteen Marathi poets of country to be honored

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): The All India Vasant Rashinkar Memorial Award Ceremony, organized every year under the joint aegis of Aaple Reading Room and Shri Sarvottam, is being organized on Saturday, 15th June at 6 pm.

The guests of this program organized in Aaple Reading Room auditorium in Rajendra Nagar will be Director of MP Sahitya Academy Dr. Vikas Dave, former Director of Marathi Sahitya Academy Ashwin Khare, social worker and educationist Vinita Dharm and the program will be presided over by senior thinkers and social worker Madhusudan Tapasvi. The speaker of the program will be Subhash Waghmare.

Giving detailed information, Satish Yevatikar, Sandeep Rashinkar of the organization said that the highest honor of the ceremony is Kavivarya Vasant Rashinkar Memorial All India Award to the talented poet of Ratnagiri Dr. Balasaheb Labde and Pratap Waghmare of Latur and Vasant Rashinkar Kavya Sadhna A.B.A. Samman for notable poetic works will be given to Nitin Bhat of Amravati, Sharad Kavathekar of Pune, Jayshree Wagh of Nashik, Bharat Satpute of Latur, Tukaram Pundalik Khillare of Parbhani, Raghav of Baramati, Harshada Sunthankar of Belgaum, Uday Bhide of Thane, Seema Gandhi of Pune, Sanjeevani Bokil, Richa Deepak Karpe of Dewas, Ramesh Pawar of Amalner and Dnyaneshwar Handargulikar of Udgir.

Ramu Bhaiyya Date Smriti Puraskar given by Achyuta Potdar will be given to Rohit Agnihotri for special achievements in the field of music. The first half will be conducted by Shriti Rashinkar.

In the second half of the program, there will be a Marathi Kavi Sammelan in which many senior and young Marathi poets will recite poetry. Vaijayanti Date will host the Kavi Sammelan. The program is open to all literature lovers.
