New parking rules in Indore: money will be deducted from Fastag

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): A meeting was held on at the city bus office of Indore Municipal Corporation, Traffic Police and Transport Department under the chairmanship of Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava. It was decided in the meeting that one of the intersections has to be converted into an ideal intersection from the traffic point of view. Under smart parking, if a car is found parked in no parking area, money will be deducted immediately through Fastag. Similar arrangements will be made for bikes as well. The width of BRTS on AB Road will be reduced.

These decisions were taken in the meeting

✅ Joint survey – Before preparing the design of any intersection, a joint survey should be done in which there is consent of traffic police, Municipal Corporation team and local public representatives.

✅ Ideal intersection – One of the intersections of Indore will be made an ideal intersection.

✅ Ideal Ward – One ward of Indore will be developed as an ideal ward from the traffic point of view.

✅ Make a Challan – A Challan will be made to fine directly through the mobile court.

✅ Latest Tow Machine – Tow machines of the latest technology will be brought to Indore.

✅ Dawa Bazar Parking – The parking of Dawa Bazar will be shifted to another place.

✅ E-rickshaw Policy – E-rickshaw policy will be implemented for end-to-end mobility.

✅ Problem of waterlogging and potholes – Wherever there is a problem of waterlogging and potholes, it will be fixed by sending it to the concerned zonal officer.

✅ Weekly Meeting – A joint meeting will be held every Saturday for traffic related issues.

✅ GPO Square – A new experiment will be done by installing a solar panel shed at the GPO square.

✅ Gopur Chauraha – Temporary barricading will be done at Gopur Chauraha and trial will be done.

✅ Sayaji Chauraha – If everyone agrees on closing the service road of Sayaji Chauraha, then it will be implemented.
✅ Sindhi Colony – Action will be taken against the car parking done in the five lanes by car sellers on the road near Sindhu Colony.

✅ Tower Square – The left turn of Tower Square will be fixed.

✅ Gangwal to Gujarat buses – Gujarat buses passing through Gangwal will be sent directly from Dhar Road.

✅ Agrasen Square – The road going from Agrasen Square to Teen Imli will be fixed by making it an ideal road.

✅ Regal to Madhumilan – The road going from Regal to Madhumilan will be made an ideal road and work will be done on it.

✅ Rasoma to LIG – Work will be started on reducing the width of the BRTS corridor between Rasoma Square and LIG.
