Letter bomb explodes again in Congress: Bhupesh Baghel’s arrogance let party down in polls
2 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy): A series of meetings are going on in the Congress to review the defeat in Rajiv Bhavan and meanwhile a letter bomb has exploded again in the Congress. This letter has come out in the name of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge.
In this letter, Bhupesh Baghel has been held responsible for the defeat without name. The anonymous character says that the defeat is due to Bhupesh Baghel’s arrogance. Mahant, Akbar, Tamradhwaj along with Bhupesh’s close ones have been targeted, in which Mahant has talked about dealing with Bhupesh and Dahria.
For the last 4 days, the Fact Finding Committee of Congress is reviewing the defeat in the elections across the country including Chhattisgarh. During the review of Raipur on Friday, Bilaspur on Saturday, then Surguja division, many Congressmen openly vented their anger over the defeat, but in the midst of the review, an anonymous letter has increased the stir within the party, in a letter written in the name of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former CM Bhupesh Baghel and his cabinet ministers were directly held responsible for the defeat in 2024, it was written in the letter that the defeat in the state was due to the arrogance of Bhupesh Baghel, in the letter Dr. Mahant, Md. Akbar, former Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu were targeted.
It was written that Dr. Mahant dealt with Bhupesh and Dahria. On the review of the defeat going on in the Congress camp, Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal took a jibe and said that, the churning in the Congress has always produced poison but there is no one to drink the poison, there are fights in the meetings every time, however, the senior leaders of the Congress are also raising questions on the review phase, former PCC Chief Dhanendra Sahu said that if this review had been done after the assembly defeat, the mistakes had been corrected, then the leaders and workers would not have been disappointed.
Overall, during the review of the party’s defeat, all the poisons like leader-dust,
factionalism and mistakes have come to the fore, but the biggest question is whether any one face or any one faction in the party is really responsible for the defeat, as is being alleged, will the Congress leadership take any action on the findings found after this review? Will the party take bold steps like reform, change after this entire exercise?
