UP STF will also take retired IAS Anil Tuteja on remand
1 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy): The troubles of Anwar Dhebar and AP Tripathi are increasing in the fake hologram case related to the Chhattisgarh liquor scam case. The UP STF produced both of them in Meerut Court on Monday after the completion of 3 days of remand. After the hearing, the court has sent both of them to jail till July 15. At the same time, retired IAS Anil Tuteja has also entered in this case. The court has also issued a warrant to present Tuteja. At present, the warrant has been sent to Raipur Central Jail through e-mail. According to UP STF officers, its hard copy will also be sent soon. Earlier, during interrogation by UP STF, both have told that the biggest beneficiaries of this scam were distillery companies (liquor manufacturing companies). These include Bhatia Wine and Merchant Private Limited, Chhattisgarh Distilleries and Welcome Distilleries.
Both the accused also told that, Noida based Vidhu’s company M/s Prism Holography Security Films Private Limited (PHSF) had got the tender to make holograms. Duplicate holograms were made from it and sent to these three distilleries. From there these holograms were pasted on illegal liquor. Meerut Court had sent Anwar Dhebar and Arun Pati Tripathi to jail for 10 days i.e. till 1 July. Meanwhile, UP STF had applied in Meerut Court and sought remand of both. After getting 3 days remand from 28 to 30 June, UP STF brought both of them to Lucknow. Where both were interrogated for a long time.
