Save Environment: ‘Make it a habit, no use of plastic’ rally held

Indore (Team Newsbuddy) : To bring awareness among the masses, the students and staff members of Chhatrapati Shivaji Public School (Ush Nagar) took out a massive rally in the city to mark the event entitled as ‘To Save Environment’ here. The well known education institution is run by Shri Kshtriya Maratha Samaj PT, Indore.
This year the United Nations has dedicated the World Environment Day to promote globally awareness and action for the protection of our environment. As per UN Secretary-General, appealed to reject single use of plastic and promote greenery through plantation drive across the globe.
To run the campaign of ‘Save Environment’ students and staff members of Chhatrapati Shivaji Public School, under the able guidance of Pramila Ratnawat (co-ordinator) and principal Vinod Jain took out rally. Over 400 students from various classes took active part in the event. During the rally participants in one voice appealed to the masses ‘Make it a habit, no use of plastic’.
Beside this during the event, students distributed handmade paper bags at different shops and vendors around. The students also spread the message of danger and appealed to discontinue use plastic. Meanwhile, principal Vinod Jain laid emphasis and explained about harmful effects of using plastic bags. He called on the masses that if we continue using plastic then it will lead us to deterioration of the environment.
The event ended with students led plantation drive at various spots in the city.
