Prakash Hockey Club felicitate Yogendra Singh Chauhan

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Former coach of Indian women’s hockey team Yogendra Singh Chauhan, who spread the light of national game hockey in the country by sharing his experiences, was honored in Indore on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.

Yogendra Singh was honored for his services in a simple ceremony on Teachers’ Day every year at Prakash Hockey Club, which is called the oldest nursery of hockey in the state. Club secretary Devkinandan Silawat said that Yogendra has been contributing to the development of national sports for many decades by teaching hockey. For the past several days in Indore, he taught the tricks of the game to children on the footpath. Due to his dedication, many national and international level players have been prepared in the country. During the program, NIS coach Ashok Yadav and Sarwar Khan also praised Yogendra’s contribution. Yogendra Singh said that no matter who a teacher is, he works to give the right direction to the society. It is a matter of pride to be honored as a teacher. Ashish Tiwari (Deputy Sarpanch Palia), Shrikant Borkar (Former Assistant Commissioner), Babul Majumdar, Dr. Rafiq Khan, Shailendra Verma, Bunty Yadav, Harsh Sharma were present during the program.
