Pehal Kharadkar in final

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Pehal Kharadkar , student of Daly College,Indore and player of Sajid Lodi Tennis Academy secured the finalist position at the International Tennis Federation J60 Tennis Tournament being held in Colombo, Sri Lanka in doubles. Along with her partner, Pehal won the first round against local duo Annaya Joanie Norbet and Thihini Wijayawardane with a score of 6-1, 6-1. In their quarterfinal, they defeated Chinese & Lankan pair of Yucheng Tian and Gehansa Methnadi with a score of 6-1, 6-2. In their nail biting semifinal against Oneli Samarawickrama and Hima Fernando from Sri Lanka & Great Britain, Pehal and her partner Dinara De Silva fought hard and emerged victorious with a score of 6-7(5), 6-2, 10-8. They eventually lost the finals to the Filipino duo of Tennielle Madis and Stefi Aludo with a score of 1-6, 5-7.
