Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will give National Lata Mangeshkar Samman to two eminent personalities

Indore : Extensive preparations are going on for the National Lata Mangeshkar Samman Decoration Ceremony, the prestigious event of the state government. This two-day ceremony will be held on 27th and 28th September at Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium in Indore. In the ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will confer the National Lata Mangeshkar Samman to two eminent personalities of the field of music and songs. In this ceremony, Uttam Singh will be awarded the National Lata Mangeshkar Award in the field of music direction for the year 2022 and K.S. in the field of playback singing for the year 2023. Chitra will be awarded the National Lata Mangeshkar Samman. The main function will be held on 28th September. There will also be a musical evening. After the award ceremony, K.S. Chitra will give melodious and melodious presentations of music and songs along with her group of artists.
It is a happy coincidence that this main function is being organized on 28 September, the birth anniversary of Swar Kokila and Bharat Ratna late Lata Mangeshkar. A meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh to finalize the preparations for the function. Collector Ashish Singh, CEO of Indore Development Authority Ramprakash Ahirwar, Deputy Commissioner Sapna Lovanshi, Additional Collector Roshan Rai, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Abhay Rajangaonkar, Jayant Bhise, Deputy Director Culture Directorate Vandana Pandey and Amit Yadav, Joint Director Public Education Indore Arvind Singh, ADCP Pramod Sonkar and other officers were present in the meeting. Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh reviewed the preparations for the function point-wise in the meeting. He instructed that all the preparations should be completed before the scheduled time in accordance with the dignity of the function. He reviewed all the arrangements including stage, light, sound, security, parking, traffic at the venue. He instructed that arrangements should be made to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the function. Law and order should also be maintained at the venue. He also directed to make arrangements for fire brigade and emergency medical facilities at the venue.

It was informed that the National Lata Mangeshkar Samman ceremony will be held on 27th and 28th September. On the first day, Amar Lata-Hamari Lata, Sugam Sangeet Sandhya will be organized. In this, local artists will give their melodious performances. The main ceremony will be held on the second day, 28th September. In this ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will give the National Lata Mangeshkar Samman decoration to Uttam Singh in the field of music direction for the year 2022 and K.S. Chitra in the field of playback singing for the year 2023. After the decoration, K.S. Chitra will give song and music performances with her team of artists in the song-music evening. The ceremony will start at 7 pm on both the days.
