Ujjain Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Gupta announced that the prasad, tested by FSSAI-recognized laboratories, met all parameters for quality and safety.
The prasad is prepared using four key ingredients—pure ghee, gram flour, rava, and sugar—with pure ghee, sourced from the Ujjain Milk Union, being the most expensive component. Nearly 40 metric tonnes of ghee are used daily in the prasad’s preparation.
Gupta expressed his delight, stating that the tests have reaffirmed devotees’ faith. “It is a matter of great joy that the Laddu Prasad passed all 13 criteria,” he said, praising the temple management for maintaining the prasad’s high standards. He also recommended that Tirupati Devasthan consider using Sanchi Ghee, produced by Ujjain Milk Union, to ensure quality in their offerings
