”SGSITS Indore’s annual sports event ‘Varchasva 2024-25” held

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): In the thrilling final match of the men’s category, the team of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Department defeated the team of Industrial Production Engineering Department 2-1 and achieved the honour of being the winner. In the first singles of this final match, Aryan Gupta of Instrumentation Department won the title. Akshay Vidvans of IPE department was defeated 21-19, 21-18. In the second singles Kunal Soni of IPE department defeated Mayank Chaukse of Instrumentation department 21-16, 21-17. In the third decisive doubles match Kunal Soni of Instrumentation department defeated Mayank Chaukse of Instrumentation department 21-16, 21-17. The pair of Aryan Gupta and Abhiraj Singh Solanki of IPE Engineering Department defeated the pair of Kunal Soni and Manjeet Mishra of IPE Engineering Department 21-17, 21-15. The best player award in the men’s category was won by Aryan Gupta of Instrumentation Department.
In the one-sided final match of the women’s category, the team of the Department of Biomedical Engineering defeated the team of the Department of Civil Engineering by 2-0 and achieved the honour of being the winner. In the first singles of this final match, Shriya Sapre of the Department of Biomedical Engineering won the title. Civil Engineering Department defeated Bhumika Kumari 21-14, 21-18. In the second singles, Shaili Juneja of Biomedical Engineering Department defeated Archita Kumari of Civil Engineering Department 21-5, 21-8. In the women’s category The Best Player award was won by Shaili Juneja of the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

Prize distribution of inter-branch badminton men and women competition under the annual sports competition “Varchasva” 2024-25 of SGSITS Indore was done by the Chief Warden of the institute and member of the sports committee Prof. B.S. .It was held under the chief hospitality of More and special hospitality of Prof. Vipin Kaushik, member of the sports committee. The program was presided over by Prof. Avdhesh Dalapati.
