Indore’s Rani Nayak wins bronze medal in National Senior Weightlifting Competition

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): On the second day of National Youth Junior and Senior Weightlifting Competition held in Nagarota Bhawan of Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh’s Rani Nayak secured third position in 45 kg weight category by lifting total 154 kg (snatch 70 kg and clean and jerk 84 kg) and secured second position in Inter State. Along with this, Rani Nayak has become the first female player from Madhya Pradesh to win a medal in official National Senior Competition. State Weightlifting Association President Davinder Singh Khanuja further informed that Rani Nayak is getting training from Dharmendra Paliwal in Indore’s Shri Ram Gym. Ramesh Mendola, CB Holkar, Davinder Singh Khanuja, Sharad Nagar, Vimal Prajapat, Sunil Patidar, Narendra Patidar, Shailendra Joshi, Jitendra Swami, Suresh Chauhan, Sumit Paliwal, Manish Paliwal, Vikash Joshi congratulated her on her achievement.
