IIM Indore strengthens global reach; inks pact with Norway’s Kristiania, China’s Soochow varsities
1 min readIndore(Team Newsbuddy): Continuing its expansion of international alliances, IIM Indore has recently signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Kristiania University College in Norway and Soochow University in China, bringing its global network to 60 partner institutions across 24 countries. These strategic collaborations reinforce IIM Indore’s commitment to fostering meaningful academic partnerships that provide enriched learning and research opportunities for students and faculty.
The first MoU was signed by Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, with Dr. Kristi Bache, Pro-Rector of Research and Artistic Development at Kristiania University College. The second MoU was finalized by Prof. Rai and Prof. Bo Feng, Dean of the Business School at Soochow University.
Prof. Rai expressed optimism about these partnerships, noting, “Our vision aligns closely with that of Soochow University, focusing on developing innovative, responsible leaders and integrating sustainable development into our business programs. This partnership enhances our mission to cultivate globally conscious leaders.” On signing the MoU with Kristiania University College, he added, “IIM Indore’s commitment to bridging academia and real-world applications resonates with Kristiania’s focus on sustainability and innovation. We look forward to learning from each other’s strengths.”
The MoU with Kristiania University College focuses on promoting academic exchanges and collaborative research, including faculty and student exchange programs and joint research projects in areas of mutual interest. Prof. Bo Feng of Soochow University highlighted the alignment of their core values—Authenticity, Accountability, Appreciation, and Advancement—with IIM Indore’s vision of developing socially conscious and innovative business leaders.”
