MP wrestlers dominate, Pawar scores gold hat-trick

Vikram Awardee Omprakash Khatri of Indore Madhya Pradesh Wrestling Association said that in the National Senior Wrestling going on in Bangalore, wrestlers of Madhya Pradesh gave a brilliant performance and won 5 medals including 1 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze. In the presence of Olympian Pappu Yadav to boost the morale of the wrestlers, the wrestlers of Madhya Pradesh fought with double enthusiasm. Shivani Pawar of Madhya Pradesh completed a gold hat-trick by winning her third consecutive gold in the senior category in the 50 kg category and Lalit Kaushal of Pappu Yadav Wrestling Academy won the silver medal in 61 kg. Neeraj Patel in 55 kg, Udit Patel in 60 kg and Aurangzeb in 77 kg were successful in winning the bronze medals. The accompanying coaches Jagdish Patel, Paramjeet Warse and Rinku Yadav were very excited with the performance of the wrestlers from Madhya Pradesh. Olympian Pappu Yadav, Vikram Awardee Omprakash Khatri, Suresh Yadav, Govind Gujjar, Vikas Yadav, Vinay Kumar and Khanderao congratulated all the medal winners.
