Prestige Group honors education visionaries: Celebrate excellence, innovation in academics
2 min readIndore (Team Newsbuddy): In a landmark event dedicated to recognizing the transformative role of educators in shaping the nation’s future, the Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore hosted the “Prestige Principal Meet” (Academic Leaders Summit). The event brought together nearly 100 distinguished school principals, educators, and academic leaders from across the city to honor their exceptional contributions to the field of education.
The summit served as a dynamic platform to celebrate academic excellence, discuss challenges in education, and explore innovative practices that align with the evolving demands of the 21st century. From fostering creativity through modern teaching methodologies to addressing gaps in infrastructure, the event highlighted a shared vision of advancing education as a cornerstone of societal progress.
Dr. Davish Jain, Chairman of the Prestige Education Foundation, while addressing the distinguished educators, principals, said, “Honoring our educators is not just about recognizing their hard work but also inspiring others to lead with purpose and passion. True leaders don’t just guide others; they create opportunities for others to grow, he added. He highlighted the role of the Atal Incubation Center in encouraging creativity and entrepreneurship among students and urged schools to adopt modern tools and techniques to prepare the youth for a global future.
Dr. Jain highlighted the urgent need to bridge gaps in digital and physical infrastructure in schools and equip teachers with contemporary teaching methods. “This summit reflects our commitment to addressing these issues and empowering educators with the tools they need to deliver quality education,” he added.
Dr. S.S. Bhakar, Director of Prestige Group, underscoring the importance of the National Education Policy 2020, said that this policy envisions raising the Gross Enrollment Ratio in higher education to 50% by 2035, and it is our collective responsibility to contribute to this transformative mission,” he added.
Dr. Rajeev Raghuvanshi, Admissions Director at PIMR, highlighted the importance of school education in shaping future leaders and paid tribute to the foundational values instilled by Padma Shri Dr. N.N. Jain.
Manoj Deshpande, Senior Director of the Prestige Institute of Engineering, Management, and Research, commended the CBSE for introducing forward-thinking curricula and emerging technologies under the NEP 2020. “As an engineering institute, we aim to collaborate with schools to organize free drone track workshops, fostering innovation among students,” he shared.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Colonel Dr. S. Raman Iyer, Director of PIMR-UG, who acknowledged the collective efforts that made the summit a success.
