Indore (Team Newsbuddy): Organized by Madhya Pradesh Tennis Association under the aegis of Indian Tennis Association and sponsored by Godrej Properties Ltd. and Yellow Diamond, the singles winner in the ITF World Tennis Tour M-25 (Men) $ 30,000 tennis tournament will get 25 ITF points along with a prize money of $ 4860. The runner-up will get 16 points and an amount of $ 2637. Qualifying matches will be played from December 30. Foreign players have started arriving.
Secretary of the Indian Tennis Association, Anil Dhupar informed that the prestigious ITF World Tennis Tour M-25 tournament is being organized at Indore Tennis Club from 30 December 2024 to 5 January 2025. In which male players from about 15 countries are participating. Qualifying matches will be played on 30 and 31 December. Dhupar informed that the singles winner of this tournament will get 25 ITF points along with a prize money of $ 4860. At the same time, the runner-up player will get $ 2637 and 16 ITF points. Similarly, players playing till the semi-finals will get $ 1428 and 8 points, players playing quarter-finals will get $ 830 and 3 points and players playing pre-quarter-finals will get $ 462 and 1 point.
Similarly, the pair winning the doubles title will get $1762 and 25 ITF points, the runner-up pair will get $895 and 16 ITF points, the pairs playing till the semi-finals will get $459 and 8 ITF points and the pairs playing in the quarter-finals will get $246 and 3 points.
Raghav and Deep of the state got wild card entry for the main round
The state’s young players Raghav Jaisinghani and Deep Munim have received wild card entry for the prestigious ITF World Tennis Tour M-25 (men) $30,000 tennis tournament. At the same time, Arthav Neema has received a wild card entry for the qualifying round.
Sri Lanka’s Dharaka will be the chief referee
Tournament Director Arjun Dhupar informed that Dharka Elavalli of Sri Lanka has been appointed as the chief referee for this international tournament. In this tournament, apart from India, around 100 players from Turkey, France, Great Britain, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Czechoslovakia, Korea, USA, Japan, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Greece, Germany, Australia, Poland will present their challenge. This tournament is going to be very important for Indian players as well, many great players of the country are also participating in it. Indore Tennis Court has been prepared to the international standard for the tournament. New coating has been done on the court, which is giving the feel of international level.
