Rajnath Singh lauds soldiers at Army War College, emphasizes their role in nation-building

Mhow (Team Newsbuddy) : Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed military officers and jawans at the Army War College on Saturday after arriving by helicopter. Chief of Army General Upendra Trivedi accompanied him during the visit.

Singh expressed deep gratitude to the soldiers for their unwavering service, stating, “Your dedication and commitment inspire us all. Because of your hard work, our country and its borders are becoming more secure and powerful.”

Focusing on India’s long-term aspirations, Singh highlighted the nation’s goal of becoming a developed and self-reliant country by 2047. He underscored the army’s pivotal role in this vision, saying, “You are not just the guardians of our borders but also pioneers in the nation’s development.” The minister praised their selfless service, describing it as embodying “nishkam karma,” or selfless action. He added, “Your strong shoulders bear the responsibility of protecting our nation and building a developed India.”

Following his address, Singh visited the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial, where he paid floral tributes, offered prayers at the Kalash (urns), and admired photographs displayed there. Minister of State and MP Savitri Thakur was also present at the event.
