Indore (Team Newsbuddy): The backbone of Indore’s unparalleled cleanliness, its sanitation workers, were celebrated for their exceptional contributions under the “Sabse Neat Apni Beat” initiative. In a ceremony held at Nehru Park, Mayor  Pushyamitra Bhargav honored 100 outstanding sanitation workers for their exemplary performance in December 2024. Each worker received a certificate of appreciation along with a ₹1,000 gift voucher as a token of gratitude for their relentless efforts.
Addressing the event, Mayor Bhargav emphasized, “Indore’s unmatched success as India’s cleanest city for seven consecutive years is a testament to the dedication of our sanitation workers. I urge all of you to ensure that we achieve this remarkable feat for the eighth year as well.”
IMC Health In-charge Ashwini Shukla highlighted the innovative steps taken by the Indore Municipal Corporation under the Swachh Bharat Mission to maintain the city’s cleanliness legacy. The “Sabse Neat Apni Beat” competition evaluates the performance of sanitation workers based on citizen feedback. This monthly recognition program not only honors outstanding workers but also enhances public awareness about cleanliness and encourages active participation in monitoring the city’s sanitation.

The initiative has strengthened the bond between citizens and sanitation workers while ensuring a cleaner, greener, and healthier Indore. Through these efforts, Indore continues to set an inspiring benchmark in urban cleanliness for the entire nation.
