Easy win for MP’s Mahendra

91st National Billiards and Snooker Championship

Indore: The 91st National Billiards and Snooker (Men’s) Championship, organized by the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) in association with the Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association and the Yashwant Club, has begun. In the junior snooker category, players from Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Jammu and Kashmir have advanced to the quarterfinals.

In the pre-quarterfinal matches, Mahendra Chouhan from Madhya Pradesh defeated J. Navin Kumar from Tamil Nadu 3-0. Dhruv Patel from Gujarat beat Mayur Kartik from Karnataka 3-0, while Mayur Garg from Gujarat defeated Sukaran Singh from Punjab 3-0. Kamran Majid from Jammu and Kashmir defeated Dev Singh from Uttar Pradesh 3-0.

Other players who advanced to the quarterfinals include Sumer Mago from Maharashtra, Ranvir Duggal from Chandigarh, K. Vibhas from Telangana, and Shayam Rajmi from Maharashtra. The championship is being held at the Smash Hall of the Yashwant Club in Indore.
