Paras, Pushpender to clash in Six Red Snooker final

Indore: The final of the 91st National 6-Red Snooker Championship will be played between Uttar Pradesh’s Paras Gupta and Railway’s Pushpender Singh. In the semifinals, Uttar Pradesh’s Paras Gupta defeated World Champion Railway’s Kamal Chawla 6-5 (1-59, 65-5, 6-65, 39-27, 39-1, 35-15, 19-51, 19-29, 19-47, 45-22, 41-4) in a thrilling match. In the second semifinal, Railway’s Pushpender Singh defeated Maharashtra’s Rian Rajmi 6-3 (44-33, 60-19, 5-52, 66-0, 0-63, 46-4, 14-52, 53-9, 41-0).
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Paras Gupta defeated Chandigarh’s Ranveer Duggal 5-1, Railway’s Pushpender Singh defeated PSPB’s Dhvaj Haria 5-4, Railway’s Kamal Chawla defeated Delhi’s Sundip Gulati 5-2, and Maharashtra’s Rian Rajmi defeated Haryana’s Digvijay Kadian 5-3.
In the pre-quarterfinals, Maharashtra’s Rian Rajmi defeated PSPB’s 28-time World Champion Pankaj Advani 5-4, Railway’s Pushpender Singh defeated PSPB’s Saurav Kothari 5-4, Delhi’s Sundip Gulati defeated PSPB’s Aditya Mehta 5-3, Railway’s Kamal Chawla defeated PSPB’s Lakshman Rawat 5-3, PSPB’s Dhvaj Haria defeated PSPB’s Brajesh Damani 5-3, Haryana’s Digvijay Kadian defeated Tamil Nadu’s Vijay Nichani 5-4, UP’s Paras Gupta defeated Tamil Nadu’s J Varun Kumar 5-2, and Chandigarh’s Ranveer Duggal defeated Telangana’s P Sai 5-2.
