31 Naxalites killed, 2 soldiers martyred in Bijapur encounter

Bijapur (Team Newsbuddy). 31 Naxalites were killed in an encounter between security forces and Naxalites in the National Park area of Bijapur on Sunday. Search operation of security forces is going on to catch other Naxalites. The encounter of security forces with Naxalites took place near Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border. In which two soldiers were also martyred. Two soldiers were also injured in the encounter, they have been airlifted to Raipur for better treatment.
Giving information about the encounter, Bastar IG P Sundarraj said that 31 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in the forests under the National Park area of district Bijapur. Search operation is going on
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Home Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said, “31 Naxalites have been killed in an encounter under the National Park area of District Bijapur. Two soldiers have been injured who have been taken to the hospital for treatment .A large amount of weapons and ammunition have been recovered.
CM Vishnudev posted on social media about the encounter and wrote: There is news of Naxalites being killed in an encounter between security forces and Naxalites in the National Park area of Bijapur district. Sad news has also been received of 2 soldiers martyred and 2 soldiers injured in the encounter. The sacrifice of the soldiers will not go in vain. Under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Honorable Union Home Minister Amit Shah ji, our state will be Naxal-free by March 2026. In this direction, the security forces are continuously achieving success and moving rapidly towards the goal. The end of Naxalism in the form of cancer in the country and the state is certain.

The encounter took place in Bijapur district of Bastar division. Police officials said that while the DRG and STF squad was returning from the search, they had an encounter with the Naxalites. The police have also recovered the bodies of the killed Naxalites. All the bodies were scattered here and there in the forests. Bastar IG has confirmed the Naxalite encounter. He said that the bodies of the killed Naxalites have been recovered. Along with this, a large quantity of AK 47, SLR, INSAS rifle, . 303, BGL weapons and explosives have also been recovered.
