Shivani scores gold hat-trick for MP in National Games

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): Shivani of MP won gold in the 38th National Games being held in Uttarakhand, she became the first wrestler from MP to make a hat-trick of gold medals. Vikram Awardee Omprakash Khatri of Indore MP Wrestling Association said that Shivani defeated Delhi Haryana in the 50 kg category. In the final, she defeated Chanchal of UP 8-1 and won the gold medal. Olympian Pappu Yadav said that Shivani Panwar is the first wrestler from MP to make a hat-trick by winning gold for the third consecutive time.

He is also a four-time consecutive national champion, he had also given a wonderful performance in the Paris Olympic trials, on winning the gold in the national games the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and President of Madhya Pradesh Wrestling Association Mohan Yadav expressed his happiness and congratulated him.

There was an enthusiastic atmosphere in the wrestling world of entire Madhya Pradesh including Olympian Pappu Yadav, Vikram Awardee Om Prakash Khatri, Suresh Yadav, Govind Gujjar, Vikas Yadav, Coaches Vinay Kumar and Jagdish Patel, Manager Vijay Chaudhary (Ujjain), on this achievement Pappu Yadav said that the wrestlers of the state will have new energy and we will win more medals in national games.
