Manik Srivastava, Deputy Director General SAI will be chief guest for closing ceremony of Asmita Hockey State Level Hockey Competition
Rajnandgaon (Team Newsbuddy): The sub-junior girls category of the Asmita Hockey state-level hockey competition being organized under the aegis of Sports Authority of India, Hockey India and Chhattisgarh Hockey was formally inaugurated . The match was played between Hockey Kabirdham and Hockey Janjgir Champa, in which Hockey Janjgir Champa defeated by 4-0 goals. In today’s first match, from Hockey Janjgir Champa’s side, Rani Rohidas scored in the 22nd minute of the match, Payal Yadav in the 35th minute of the match, Shalu Dhimar and Krishna Suryavanshi scored 1-1 goals each. Today’s second match was played between Hockey Bilaspur and Sports Hockey Academy Raipur, in which Hockey Bilaspur defeated by 13-0 goals in a one-sided match. Hockey Bilaspur started scoring goals from the very first minute. Madhu Sindhar scored 4 goals, Sanam Dhurve scored 3 goals, Damini Khusro and Riya Khalkho scored 3 goals each from Hockey Bilaspur’s side. 2-2 goals and Smita Kujur, Sonakshi Yadav scored 1-1 goals and achieved an easy win.
The first semi-final match of the junior girls category played in the afternoon was played between Hockey Bilaspur and Hockey Kabirdham in which Hockey Bilaspur achieved an easy win and made its place in the final. From Hockey Bilaspur’s side Madhu scored 4 goals, Riya, Bhumika and Meenakshi scored 1-1 goals each and won the match 7-0 and secured its place in the final.
In second semi-final match played between host Rajnandgaon and Sports Academy Raipur in which host Rajnandgaon defeated by 9-0 goals in this one-sided match and entered the final. From the side of host Rajnandgaon, Dubi scored 3 goals, Shital scored 4 goals and Vasundhara and Simran scored 1-1 goals and defeated Raipur by 9-0 goals and secured its place in the final.
Before the match, the guests present went to the middle of the ground and got introduced to the players. In today’s match, R.K. Tripathi, Central Incharge Sai, Firoz Ansari, President Chhattisgarh Hockey, Ramesh Dakliya, Aush Thomas, Ranvijay Pratap Singh, Bhushan Shaw, Mrinal Chaubey, Anuraaj Srivastava, Divya, Priyanka Coach Sai, Ajay Jha, Prakash Sharma, Ashok Mehra, Neelamchand Jain, Bhushan Shaw, Tirath Gauswami, Sachin Khobragade, Shakeel Ahmed, Shabbir Solanki (Sabbu), Khushal Yadav, Amitabh Manikpuri, Abhinav Mishra, Rajesh Nirmalkar, Khemraj Sinha, Santosh Chokandre, Amit Mathur, Krishna Yadav, Rupesh Jaiswal and sports loving public were present.
