Prestige International Conference concludes with transformative insights on Industry 5.0

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The 20th International Conference, PICOM-25, hosted by Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), concluded on a high note, bringing together over 150 scholars, industry experts, and academicians from across the world. Centered on “Human-Machine Collaboration in the Era of Industry 5.0,” the conference served as a dynamic platform for thought-provoking discussions on AI, automation, finance, corporate governance, healthcare, and consumer behavior.
In his keynote address, Dr. Davish Jain, Chairman of Prestige Education Foundation and Chancellor of Prestige University, underscored the need for academia to bridge the gap between research and real-world business applications. He emphasized that AI should not replace human intelligence but should serve as a tool to enhance decision-making, predictive analysis, and problem-solving. Former ISRO scientist Dr. Shiv Mohan reiterated that Industry 5.0 is about achieving synergy between humans and machines, where both complement each other in decision-making and operational efficiency.
Prominent speakers, including CP Gurmani and Siddharth Rajhans, provided key insights into emerging technological trends. Gurmani highlighted the impact of digital transformation, citing the Digi Yatra app as a breakthrough in enhancing travel experiences. Rajhans discussed the revolutionary role of AI in business transformation, referencing advanced models such as Meta AI, ChatGPT, and Gemini, which are now being integrated into everyday platforms like WhatsApp.
The conference also recognized outstanding contributions in research and innovation. Sharad Chaturvedi was honored with the PIMR Young Leader Award, while Devash Mohan received the Outstanding Alumnus Award. A wide range of research papers were presented, covering topics such as financial investments by women, dividend policies in the automobile sector, PR practices in healthcare, and consumer preferences for organic food. A vibrant Q&A session allowed participants to engage with experts on these crucial subjects.
A key highlight was the release of the conference souvenir, featuring key takeaways, research papers, and expert opinions. Additionally, the Research Methodology Workshop was launched to equip scholars and academicians with advanced research techniques.
PICOM-25 reinforced the growing importance of human-machine collaboration in shaping Industry 5.0 and set the stage for future innovations and business transformations. The event concluded with the announcement of the best research papers and merit-based student awards, marking another milestone in PIMR’s commitment to academic excellence and industry-driven education.
