Bilaspur, Sports Academy Raipur, Jagdalpur ,Rajnandgaon teams in semi-finals

Asmita Hockey State Level Hockey Competition

Rajnandgaon (Team Newsbuddy): Four matches were played on the fourth day of the Asmita Hockey state-level hockey competition being organized under the aegis of Sports Authority of India, Hockey India and Chhattisgarh Hockey, in which the first match was played between Sports Academy Raipur and Hockey Kabirdham, in which Sports Academy Raipur defeated Kabirdham by 4-0 goals. From Sports Academy Raipur, Tanujashikha Yadav scored 2 goals, Pritam Kolyara and Garima Yadav scored 1-1 goals. Today’s second match was played between Hockey Balod and Hockey Jagdalpur. In this one-sided match, Hockey Balod defeated Balod by 39-0 goals. For Hockey Jagdalpur, Jigyasa Kashyap scored 14 goals, Pratima Mandvi scored 13 goals, Rotha Mandavi and Damini Kashyap scored 2-2, whereas Sarita Morya scored 4 goals, Chandravati Netam and Nidhi scored 1-1 goals. In the third match played today, Hockey Bilaspur defeated Hockey Janjgirchampa by 4-0 goals. Bilaspur scored in the 2nd minute of the match Madhu Sidar took the lead of 1-0 by scoring a goal, Ajmat Praveen scored in the 9th minute of the match, Sonakshi Yadav in the 47th minute of the match and Saraswati Sonwani in the 52nd minute of the match. Today’s fourth match was played between host Rajnandgaon and Hockey Jashpur. Host Rajnandgaon defeated Jashpur by 5-1 goals. From the host Rajnandgaon, Geetu Markam, Shyamali Rai and Sheetal Yadav scored 1-1 goals, whereas Dubi Rawat scored 2 goals. From Jashpur’s side, Pragay Sahu alone scored 1 goal and the host Rajnandgaon entered the semi-final. Before the match, the guests present went to the middle of the ground and got introduced to the players.
