Bollywood extravaganza at ‘CineFest’

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): As a curtain-raiser for the much-awaited Prestige Indore International Film Festival 2025, a spectacular ‘CineFest’ was organized, bringing Bollywood’s magic to life with vibrant performances by students. The evening featured electrifying dance acts and dramatic portrayals of iconic characters from blockbuster films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Laapataa Ladies, Chennai Express, and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Anchors Navika Awasthi and RJ Raghu engaged the audience with their lively hosting.
Adding to the excitement, student Roma Udasi was crowned Miss Fresh Face, while Khemraj was honored as Mr Fresh Face, celebrating their charisma and confidence. The night peaked with a high-energy performance by DJ Checkmate, turning the venue into a dance floor and leaving the audience in a musical frenzy.
A major highlight of the event was the grand unveiling of the official ‘Dangler’ for the Prestige Indore International Film Festival 2025, set to take place on April 21-22. The festival promises an immersive cinematic experience with open-air screenings, a short film-making competition, Mahfil-e-Shaam, DJ night, and several other engaging events.
Gracing the occasion as the chief guest, Senior Police Officer Umakant Chaudhary urged students to be responsible citizens by adhering to traffic rules. In contrast, special guest Anil Gupta, popularly known as the ‘Cycle Man of Indore,’ shared inspiring insights. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and dignitaries, including Prestige Institute’s Director Col. Dr. S. R. Iyer and Dr. Nidhi Sharma, making it an unforgettable evening of glamour and celebration.
