PIMR faculty wins gold medal in state-level chess competition

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Dr. Avani Trivedi, Assistant Professor at Prestige Institute of Management and Research, has brought glory to the institution by winning the gold medal in the Under-50 Women’s Chess category at the State-Level Teachers and Staff Sports Competition 2024-25. Dr. Trivedi secured the first position by outperforming participants from various states in the competition.
In addition to her individual achievement, Dr. Trivedi played a crucial role in helping the Indore team win the team chess event by defeating teams from Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, and other states. The Indore team scored a total of 11 points in the combined chess competition, with outstanding performances by Dr. Trivedi and her teammates.
On this remarkable achievement, Dr. Davish Jain, Chairman of the Prestige Education Foundation, along with Colonel Dr. S. Raman Iyer, Director of the Prestige Institute of Management and Research, and the faculty members of the institution, congratulated Dr. Trivedi. They also requested her to provide chess training to other faculty members and students.
