Explosion in bus carrying Pak security forces, five military officers killed

Quetta (Team Newsbuddy). A bus carrying security forces exploded in Naushki in Pakistan’s troubled Balochistan. Five military officers were killed in the attack. While 12 military personnel were injured. According to media reports, the Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack. At the same time, the Balochistan government has condemned the attack.
Police said that two buses of the Pakistani army were carrying security forces. During this, a roadside bomb exploded near a bus. Local police chief Zafar Zamanani said that the attack took place in Naushki district of Balochistan. Another nearby bus was also badly damaged by the explosion. The dead and injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attack. Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind said that targeting innocent civilians is a cruel act. Rind prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.
Rind said that enemy elements are trying to destabilize the country. People’s morale cannot be lowered through terror. We stand with the affected families in this hour of grief. No organization has taken responsibility for the attack. However, it is believed that the attack was carried out by the Baloch Liberation Army.
