Urzotsav 2K25 kickstarts with Dangler’s unveiling & Sports Fest

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The much-awaited annual festival of PIEMR, ‘Urzotsav 2K25’, commenced with immense grandeur and excitement. The event began with the spectacular unveiling of the ‘Danglers’, marking a memorable start to the festival’s first phase. Alongside this, a series of thrilling sports competitions were organized as part of the Sports Fest, igniting enthusiasm and zeal among the students.
The Sports Fest featured exhilarating competitions in basketball, football, table tennis, cricket, badminton, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, chess, athletics, and girls’ cricket. The participants not only showcased remarkable sports skills but also demonstrated exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship. Each competition witnessed intense rivalry as teams fiercely battled to claim the coveted championship title.
The sports competitions were successfully conducted under the guidance of PIEMR’s Sports Officer, Vikram Hansari, with dedicated efforts from the Discipline and Sports Committee, who ensured the seamless execution of the events.
During the closing ceremony, winners of various competitions were felicitated and honored. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by the presence of the institute’s Senior Director, Dr. Manoj Kumar Deshpande, Admission Director, Dr. Rajiv Raghuvanshi, along with several department heads, faculty members, and a large number of students.
The second phase of ‘Urzotsav 2K25’ will feature a Technical Fest from March 24 to 27, while the third phase will conclude with a vibrant Cultural Fest on March 28 and 29, providing a grand platform for students to showcase their talents.
