Meat shops to remain closed in Indore on key religious festivals 

*Strict action to be taken against violators, warns Mayor Bhargava
Indore(Team Newsbuddy): In view of upcoming religious festivals, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava has directed that all meat shops within Indore Municipal Corporation limits remain closed on specific dates to honor the sanctity of these occasions.
As per the directive, meat shops will remain shut on Cheti Chand, April 6, 2025 on Ram Navami,  April 10, 2025 on Mahavir Jayanti and on May 12, 2025 on Buddha Jayanti respectively.
Mayor Bhargava emphasized that these instructions are a continuation of last year’s successful implementation. He further warned that any shop found violating the order will face strict action. Municipal officials have been instructed to ensure full compliance with the directive.
