PIMR to host grand celebration of art, cinema & culture with PIIFF; Manthan 2025

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore, is set to organize the Prestige Indore International Film Festival (PIIFF) 2025 from April 21 to April 26 and Manthan 2025 from April 24 to 26. These grand events are not only a celebration of art, cinema, and culture but also an inspiring platform to showcase the talents of young individuals on a global stage.
In a press conference, PIMR Group Director Dr. S.S. Bhakar, Director of the Department of Law Dr. Nishant Joshi, Director of PIMR UG Colonel S. Raman Iyer, and Head of the Mass Communication Department Dr. Nidhi Sharma shared details of the events. The film festival, themed “Kalachitra – Where Art Meets Cinema”, will feature the prestigious Padmashri Dr. N.N. Jain 48-Hour Short Film Making Competition, where 20 teams from across India will take on the challenge of scripting, shooting, and editing a film in just 48 hours. Winners will be awarded in categories such as Best Film, Cinematography, Editing, Story, and Direction. On April 21, films will be screened at an open-air theater, and the closing ceremony on April 22 will mark the launch of the Prestige Photography Club and honor distinguished artists, including “The Stellar Voice and Acting Award” for Vijay Vikram Singh and the “Outstanding Actor Award” for Manav Gohil.
(Renowned film personalities such as Anulata Raj Nair and Chitransh Raj, as well as actors from the acclaimed web series Panchayat—Ashok Pathak, Chandan Roy, Vijay Vikram Singh, and Manav Gohil—will grace the festival. Their masterclasses and interactive sessions will offer invaluable insights into their creative journeys.
Following this, Manthan 2025 from April 24 to 26 will see over 880 participants, including 210 institutional, 320 local, 338 national, and 12 international participants. The event will host 17 competitions, including singing, dancing, art, brand management, reel-making, and quizzes. The grand inauguration on April 23 will feature the ‘Paridhan’ fashion show, while a cultural evening will depict the journey from ‘Old India’ to ‘New India’.
Dr. Bhakar announced that winners across competitions will receive a total prize pool of ₹10 lakh, including cash, gift vouchers, trophies, medals, and certificates.
This vibrant celebration promises to be a remarkable convergence of creativity, talent, and cultural heritage in the heart of Indore.
