Road safety awareness through street play

Academy of Event Management takes initiative

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): With the aim of making citizens aware of traffic rules for smooth, safe and pleasant traffic in Indore city, awareness programs are being organized continuously by the Traffic Management Police under the guidance of Police Commissioner, Urban Indore Santosh Kumar Singh and Additional Police Commissioner Urban Indore Manoj Kumar Srivastava and under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Management Arvind Tiwari.

In this series, a road safety street play program was organized under the leadership of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Santosh Kumar Kaul and Assistant Police Commissioner Hindu Singh Muvel. The play was performed by the team of Academy of Event Management under the direction of Anurag Bhatnagar, Director (AEM). During this, the general public was given information about traffic rules. The drama artists taught two-wheeler drivers to wear helmets, four-wheeler drivers to wear seat belts, and also presented messages like not to drive after drinking alcohol, bad consequences of over speeding, parking the vehicle behind the stop line at red light, not talking on mobile phone while driving to the general public through acting.

Everyone encouraged the team by clapping loudly. In the presence of the education wing team, Anurag Bhatnagar Director (AEM), Abha Bhatnagar Director (AEM), Abhinash Motiwale Mentor and artist from Academy of Event Management, Keshav and Shalini Chauhan Group Mumbai gave a presentation. In future also, street plays will be organised by the team in various squares, malls etc. of the city with the aim of creating awareness about traffic rules.
