E-office system to be implemented mandatory in all divisional offices : Deepak Singh

Indore : E-office functioning and TL (review of time limit letters) meeting was held today in the Divisional Commissioner’s office under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh. Joint Commissioner Development D.S. Randa, Additional Collector Rinkesh Vaishya, Deputy Commissioner Brijesh Pandey and Deputy Collector Seema Kanesh along with the concerned officers of the Agriculture Department, Education Department, Public Health and Engineering Department etc. were present in the meeting. In the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Singh reviewed the proposed e-office functioning in various departments.

In the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Singh instructed the officers and said that e-office system should be mandatory implemented in all divisional offices by July 15, 2025. Whatever education and training is to be done for this work, it should be completed with seriousness. By making a special action plan for e-office system, continuous efforts should be made to implement it within the time limit. Senior officials should do continuous monitoring. Pay special attention to quality, transparency and time limit in this work. Any kind of negligence and indiscipline will not be tolerated in this work. It was told in the meeting that e-office system has been started in some departments, but it has not been fully implemented yet.
Divisional Commissioner Singh said that it is necessary for all officers and employees to take training to implement e-office system. It was told in the meeting that there is a phased action plan to implement e-office system.

Under which, in the first phase, a list and email ID of all officers / employees will be prepared from June 20, in which information about name, designation and work place is to be collected from all offices and entered into the system. In the second phase, from June 25, the availability of necessary hardware, computers, scanners, printers, internet and connectivity etc. for e-office will be evaluated. In the third phase, a workshop of district head officers and employees will be organized at the divisional headquarters from July 1 to 5. The technical team will be formed on July 6 and file targets will be determined and fully implemented on July 10. Time limit letters were also reviewed in the meeting and necessary instructions were given.
