Indore-Says no to drugs, awareness drive held

◆ In marathon organized by Indore Police, youth, children and women also participated enthusiastically and gave message of keeping away from drugs (say no to drugs).
Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Under the campaign “Drug se doori hai jaroori” (Say No to Drugs), various awareness programs are being organized by Indore Police Commissionerate. In this series, under the guidance of Police Commissioner Indore Santosh Kumar Singh, an awareness marathon “Run for Awareness, Run for Life” was organized today on Sunday at 6 am from Nehru Stadium Indore.
The said marathon was flagged off by Additional Commissioner (Office/Administration) Indore Amit Singh, Additional Commissioner (Adm./Chief) Indore Manoj Kumar Srivastava.
Indore Police had organized two races of 5 km (Nehru Stadium to Holkar College- Nehru Stadium) and 10 km (Nehru Stadium to Rajiv Gandhi Statue- Nehru Stadium) under this marathon, in which more than 2362 Indoris participated with great enthusiasm and zeal, ran for awareness against drug abuse and gave the message to everyone that staying away from drugs is important.
Before this marathon, Additional Commissioner Amit Singh and Manoj Kumar Srivastava, along with other officials, administered the oath of staying away from drugs to all the participants.
On this occasion, Additional Commissioner (Office/Administration) Indore Amit Singh, Additional Commissioner (Upper Office/Headquarters) Indore Manoj Kumar Shrivastava, DCP Zone-03 Hansraj Singh, DCP Crime Rajesh Kumar Tripathi, DCP Headquarters Prakash Parihar, Additional DCP Ramsnehi Mishra, Additional DCP Alok Kumar Sharma and Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotia along with ACP, Police Station in-charge and other officers were also present who, by participating in the race, gave the message of de-addiction and being aware against drug abuse to everyone.
After the race, certificates were also distributed to all participants by Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotia.
