Parakram Janseva Sansthan hosts tree plantation drive

Bhopal (Team Newsbuddy): Activists of Parakram Janseva Sansthan, Sharad Singh Kumare, Ramesh Vanjari, Ashok Chaurasia and Dr. Sanjeev Bhukesh, PhD from MANIT Bhopal, on the occasion of International Tiger Day, in collaboration with the Forest Department, planted trees, did plogging and collected polythene at Jhiri village. Youths, social activists along with environmentalists participated in the event which was great success. On this occasion, organisation also distributed cloth bags. The message of “Yes to cloth bags and No to polythene” was given.
It may be recalled that organization Parakram Janseva Sansthan is working on the lines of developing gymnasium, cow shelter, school, nursery and moral school to revive the origin of Betwa river and make the village Jhiri to develop in all aspects. Through the children, organisation want the village to be polythene free, dirt free, drug free, illiteracy free, superstition free, malnutrition free, green and clean. Earlier, organisation members at Jhiri village in collaboration with MANIT Bhopal, IIT Madras, hosted the event to bring awareness among the villagers about health , sanitation and education. Besides this organisation also conducted many events like Bring Polythene Get Respect competitions, Water Parliament and Nature Contemplation and distributed 400 cloth bags, 200 copies, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, 70 water bottles, 935 fruit plants, sports equipment like volleyball and net, football, bat, skipping rope, hulahu, equipment for badminton and chess board among the needy students.
